I can't move my arms

Oh My, I can barely move my arms. Our workout was really hard this morning, and today was arms. I thought I was strong until I did this workout today and I felt like a whimp because I could barely do all the reps. And we just got done like an hour ago and I can already start to feel it in my arms. I'm going to be hurting tomorrow. He made us do crab walks, and wheel barrels which were tough. But it is all going to be worth it in the end right???? At least my legs didn't hurt as much as I thought they would after Tuesday.
Nothing else new with me. Wedding stuff is starting to get hectic and the bickering is already starting with my Mom. I just want it to be here already. Don't be engaged longer than a year, or you will want to shoot yourself. I'd say about 8 months is long enough. But my Wedding dress finally came in and I have to go tomorrow to try it on and see if it needs altered. Then I can finally buy my shoes and slip. I don't have to work tomrrow so I'm going shopping for things for the house, and I still have like 10 gift cards left over from Christmas that I'm going to use for some spring/summer clothes. Got to buy some cute stuff for the honeymoon. Then I got asked out on a date tomorrow, and I think he is surprising me and we are going to Carrabbas, YUM!!! Because he has a $25 gift certificate. Ok well Maybe I'll blog again this afternoon but if not, everyone have a great weekend.

The Hard Work Has Started

Oh My Gosh!! Molly and I started our personal trainer today, and let me tell you we are going to be sore tomorrow. He kicked our ass, and we have 6 more weeks to go. I'm hoping it will get easier as we go once our muscles get use to it. I bought a big water and I'm going to be drinking it all day, because it just made me exausted. But I'm sure we are going to shed some pounds and be buff for the wedding. Well at least we hope so. I'll keep you updated on how bad I hurt, and if I'll be able to walk tomorrow because we did legs today.
I had a good Easter. Our trip back to PA was uneventful. Just had Easter breakfeast at my Aunt's then came back to Delaware and had Dinner with Josh's Family. I watched Kentucky lose in overtime and I wasn't happy about that since I can't win the pool anymore. But it looks like my brother is going to win anyway. Besides that nothing else is new.

Nothing really new

Well I don't really have anything exciting to update on. I've been really busy the past two weeks with work, the house, and wedding stuff is starting to get a bit crazy. My dress finally came in so I'm going next week to try it on to see if I need to get it altered. The house is coming along great. I' m excited for everyone to see it. Josh and I went to the Cavs game in Clevleland on Friday. I got him tickets to the game, took him to dinner, and got a hotel in downtown Cleveland as his Valentine's day present. So we drove up Friday afternoon, then went to dinner and had drinks at this place called Harry Buffalo's right next to the arena. Then went to the game. I got to see Usher (the singer). He is part owner of the Cavs and was at the game so that was a little surprise. My parents were in town last weekend and my Mom and I went shopping to get stuff for the house. But on our way home the car broke down, and we had to call a tow truck and have my dad and Josh come pick us up. The bad news is my car is officially dead. It has 195,000 miles on it and we knew it wasn't going to last too much longer. The good news my parents are going to let me use the Tracker since it just sits at their house in PA, so I'm not totally without a car. I'll probably buy a new one in the Fall. So Josh and I are taking an unexpected trip back to DuBois, PA to pick up the Tracker this weekend. That is about all the stories I have to tell. I'm still in the running for the March Madness pool. Everyone cheer for Kentucky!!!! And Molly and I start our trainer next week. It was supposed to be this week but Molly is on spring break.

Moving In and Other Stuff

I figured I better update my blog this morning because I may never get a chance the rest of the day. Work has been really busy, and we are going to be getting into some Audits soon so that means even more busy. But I found out this morning they want me to be the recruiter for our office with this other guy Mark. So we are going to like 10 Universities the next three months to do some recruiting and some interviews. No BG though because they don't have an Enginereing School. So that should be fun to go to the different schools.
Well we moved all of our stuff into the house on Saturday. We had a lot of help from our friends so it went quick and smooth. We treated everyone to pizza and beer and hung out at our house the rest of the day. Most everything is unpacked and set up, but we still have some work to do. We oredered our bedroom suit and coffee and end tables but they won't be in for about 2-3 weeks. My parents are coming out on Saturday and me and my mom are going shopping to buy things for the house (such as curtains, wall pictures, slip covers, and things to decorate the house) So the house is coming along slowly, but surely. In one month we should have things pretty much together, and after my showers we should have about everything we need. Well that is an update about the house. I absolutely love it more and more every day I'm in it. Ok well that is my blog for the day.

This Blog is dedicated to Kelley O'Hara since she wants some updated blogs. TGIF!!! I only worked 4 days this week but I feel like the week went by really slow. Josh and I have been over at the house cleaning the past two days but it looks really good. Jodie is going over today to clean the carpets with this like Master Kerby cleaner she paid way too much for. I told her I'd babysit some nights so she agreed. The official move in day is tomorrow. We are renting a Uhaul and getting everything out of storage. We recruited some people to come help, by offering some beer and pizza. Then I'm sure I'll be spending all night Saturday and Sunday unpacking and organizing. I don't think it will sink in I have a house until after we move in and start staying there.
But I do have a funny story about getting to work today. I have every other Friday off since I work 9 hour days, and the Friday's I don't have off I only have to work a 8 hour day. So usually I work 7:00-3:30 on Friday which is an hour earlier than I usually get off. But tonight I have to meet Josh's aunt and cousin at Alan Ray Bridal so she can get measured for her dress (she is the flower girl/junior bridesmaid) at 5:00. So I decided to come in an hour later today and just leave at my normal time. So, I usually take the bus to work and I ride the #7 bus every morning at 6:55am. Ok but today I was going to catch a later bus of course, and I got to the stop and saw the #7 coming so I just got on. WELL, right away I knew something was weird because there was a lot of younger people on the bus. So then it takes a left when it normally takes a right, and I'm thinking well maybe this is just the longer route since it is later in the day. Well I was wrong, and needless to say I ended up in the dead center of Ohio State's campus (no wonder there was a lot of younger people) So I ask the bus driver and he told me I had to get off and walk two blocks to High st and catch the #2 bus. Mind you I'm in high heels and it is snowing and freezing outside. So I finally end up getting to work at 8:45 when I am supposed to be here at 8:00. Apparently there are two #7 buses and I got on the wrong one. Like I was supposed to know there were two different ones that go in completely two different directions. Any, at least the morning seems short since I have only been here 2 1/2 hrs and it is almost lunch time.
Ok well I hope everyone has a GREAT weekend. Wish for warm weather!!!

Life in Denver comes To An End

Well today is my last day in the office here in Lakewood, and I start making the drive back home on Saturday. I brought in Donuts today for my office to say Thanks for hosting me. They just loved that. I'm actually eating one right now. A chocolate iced one, YUM!!!!
My office is taking me out to lunch today at some good Italian place I guess, then I'm meeting some of my fellow friends and co-workers that are in my program after work for happy hour down the street. Josh flies in tonight at 10:50pm. I can't wait to see him!!!
Tomorrow I don't have to work so I'm just going to pack everything up and load the car. Josh and I are meeting Amy, John, and Heidi out for dinner and drinks tomorrow so that should be fun, and I'll get to say goodbye. Then Saturday morning we are waking up and starting our drive. We're stopping in Kansas City for the night and having dinner and stuff. Then we are driving all the way to Columbus on Sunday.
Monday is the "Big Day". We are closing on the house Monday afternoon. Can't wait.

Well I hope everyone has a great weekend. I won't be writing any more blogs until next week, so I'll post a picture of the house next week if all goes well Monday. If anyone wants to chat, give me a call this weekend. All we'll be doing is driving :-)

ebay

Ok, so I absolutely love ebay. Lately I have been looking at tons of stuff on there to buy. Here is some good advice girls, when you get married, go on ebay and bid for a lot of stuff. Like I just bid on some plasitic shot glasses for the dollar dance. Right now the bid is $6.50 for 200 glasses. What a deal. Plus we got like our rose petals, and balloons from ebay extemely cheap. I think I am going to bid today on white lights. I can get 2-packs of 100 for $7.00, to put on the cake table and gift table.
Ok just wanted to say that ebay is "COOL" and make sure you take advantage when you all become beautiful brides :-)

Miss you all!!!!!

Bored at Work

So I'm bored at work right now. It is almost lunch time, and I don't have much to do until my meeting which is after lunch. So I decided to write a blog. I had a good weekend. Friday was my off day, and my Dad came into town for the weekend. We went up to this town called Central City, which is in the middle of the mountains and it is this little old western type town with casinos and stuff. It was a fun little trip, but we both lost money playing some 3 card poker. Then we went and took a tour of the Coors Brewery, and of course the best part was at the end when we got 3 glasses of free beer. I was really excited to find out that Coors makes Blue Moon and they had that as a sample at the end. We then headed to Laundry's Seafood House for dinner. ( No meat on friday's during lent for us Catholics) So we both had the jumbo shrimp platter, and it was gooooood!!! By the end of that we were beat from our long day, so back to my place to relax.
Saturday, we went to breakfeast and did some stuff to the car. We headed down town to the 16th St. Mall and had lunch at this cute place called Paramount Cafe. I had the BBQ Chix Salad and it was good. It had black beans and corn in it and it came with a southerwestern ranch dressing. Then we went to Nike Town, where I found this awesome pair of shoes. They are white with pink on the sides and a dark pink swoosh. I saw them and picked them up and they said $35, and I was like no way. And the ladie was like yea they are kids that is why they are cheap. So I asked the guy what the biggest pair of girls they came in and he said 6. So I tried them on and they fit, actually a little big. So I couldnt' pass them up for $35. Then it was off to church at the Cathedrale downtown, which was beautiful. And we had some dinner at Rock Bottom Brewery which is always the bomb. Then he flew out Sunday.
Sunday afternoon I headed across the street to the Holiday Inn where they were having a bridal bazzare. It didn't help me much because everyone there was local people, but they had some good food to try and a chocolate fountain to dip pretzels and cherry's in. And they had chocolate covered strawberries which were awesome. (We are going to have those at the wedding for all you chocolate lovers)
So that was my weekend. Good that took up a lot of time and it is now time for lunch.

Happy Birthday Jason Ellinger!!!!
