Ok So Specifics on the Wedding

This blog is dedicated to Melissa Galitz, he he. So I wanted to post some specifics about the wedding on here for those of you that are coming from out of town. It is of course June 11th, and is at 1:30pm. Being a Catholic Mass, it will last about an hour. The reception is right up the street from the church and it is from 3:30-10:00pm. So you'll have about a half hour in between, but don't worry there just happens to be a bar we all go to between the Church and the Reception where you can stop in and have a cocktail before heading to the reception. (I'm sure all my friends from around here will be doing the exact same thing)
The closest airport is of course Columbus. I'd recommend flying in Friday night so you can wake up and get ready at the hotel. We have blocked rooms at a hotel in Delaware (The Amerihost) and we will be sending out information for that with the invitations which will be going out early April. There is going to be a brunch for out of town guests on Sunday probably around 11:00am at Josh's house, so if you wanted to attend that you could get a late afternoon flight back. There really isn't any great public transportation, so you'll probably have to rent a car if you a flying in.
I have decided to invite people who have serious significant others with a guest (ex: Melissa, Amy, Kelley, Caroline) So if you would like to bring them go ahead and look into plane tickets. Ok so I think that is about all the general info you would need. Like I said invitations are going out in April, and if you want to go ahead and book a hotel room early, call me and I'll let you know the phone number and details. Hope this helps!!!

Patio Set

Patio Set
Originally uploaded by jellinger.
Ok, so I am soooooo excited. When Josh and I went and registered last weekend we found this patio set at Sears that we just loved. We sat at it for like 10 min and it was so comfortable, and it is a hexagon so it seats 6 people. It was on sale for $299 compared to $500 but while quantities last. I told my parents about it and we put it on our registry, but I told Josh that we should maybe just buy it now since it may not be around in a month or so. Well, I got an email from my Dad yesterday saying that he and my Mom were going to buy it for Josh and I as a house warming gift. I was so excited I could barely function at work the rest of the afternoon. We love it, and It will look great on our back deck, plus we can cookout and have parties and everything. You guys will have to come visit for a cookout and margaritas and enjoy the new patio set. Here's a picture! Oh, I can't wait to move into the house!!!!!!!

Great Weekend

Well, I'm back from my weekend in Delaware and I had a great time. Friday I went shopping in the morning while Josh was teaching, then we went to Target and registered. It was a lot of fun, but by the end we were both exausted of picking things out. But we put down some really cute things that I hope we get for the house. We headed down to Molly's Friday night and she cooked a bunch of us Pasta and we had some beer and wine and played a couple games of "Asshole" for old time sake. We then headed downtown to the bar Gaswerks, and met up with Rob and Trev and had a good night ($1 yager bombs, can't beat that) So needless to say I was pretty hungover in the morning, and of course I ate some McDonald's Chicken nuggets and fries to help cure that.
Saturday we went over to Josh's sister's and played with Olivia all afternoon. And Saturday night a big group of us went to Vaqueros and had some good mexican food and I had two jumbo Margaritas. I was feeling them a little bit, but they must of not been that strong that night, because Molly and I have gone there before and have drank two, and we communicated by giggles the whole rest of the night :-)
Sunday was a great lay around day. Didn't so much. Just played some cards.
Monday it was off to get some home owners insurance, then Josh's Mom and I went to the Mall because I had to register at Elder Beerman for all the DuBois relatives. Then drama happened, because Josh and I had planned to go to TGI Friday's for a date Monday night (my last night in town) and he calls me at lunch time and tells me he forgot he had to do this Child Abuse class for his work that night from 6:15-9:15. Boy was I pissed off, because we had planned this for a while and he never bothered checking his schedule ( I was about to strangle him) So instead I went over to Jodie's and played with the boys and we were going to go to subway for dinner, and then some how plans turned in to a bunch of us girls going to Vaqueros for dinner and getting margaritas at happy hour, and then going to the bar afterwards. So that was a strange night that was totally out of the ordinary. So the night was fun. And Vaqueros obviously loved me that weekend for giving them so much money!!!
So I flew back yesterday, and am now back into my normal grove. So overall it was a great weekend, and to be honest I didn't really want to come back to Denver. I'm only here two more weeks, but I'm ready to be home again with my friends and Josh.
Well that was my weekend for those of you who wanted to know.

Can't Wait for The Weekend

Ok, so I just got into work this morning, and I already want to leave. I'm going straight to the airport after work and flying home for the weekend. I can't wait and just want to be home now. I have such a busy weekend planned and I am looking forward to it, so of course I don't want to do any work today. Tomorrow Josh and I are going to register at Target for our Wedding. I have a feeling that we are going to be there a long time and I may be dangerous with the scanning gun :-) I'm basically just going to register for all stuff for the house. If all goes as planned we should be moving in March 12th, and the house will sit kind of empty until after my bridal showers. After that I'll pretty much know what I still need and then will go out and by stuff. It's kind of stupid to go buy stuff for the house right away before my showers. Speaking of, Molly is throwing mine April 23rd, and I'm hoping all of you close by will be able to attend. (Kelly and Melinda) Tomorrow night I'm going down to Columbus to see Molly and all the guys. I haven't gone out in Downtown C-bus for a while so I'm looking forward to it. The rest of the weekend is going to be laying around and just relaxing. Probably play some cards, and perhaps go get some margaritas at Vaqueros. I'm staying until Tuesday morning, then heading back to Denver.
I'm only in Denver 2 more weeks after this weekend. Time has just flown by, but I have enjoyed it and the place I work at is great! Well just wanted to do something besides go straight to work, so I thought I'd write a blog. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Miss you all !!!

What a great Guy

Josh, What a great guy. I just got a beautiful flower bouqet delivered to me at work, with a dozen long stem Red Roses. It is gorgeous! I have the best Fiance!!! I love you Josh! Can't wait until June 11th. Miss you!

Skiing Trip

Ok, So I went up to Vail this past weekend to visit with Amy. I went skiing for the first time ever, and let me tell you the first time down was horrible. Thank God Amy was a good teacher or it may have been a long long day. Let me just say I couldn't move off of the couch Saturday or Sunday because my muscles hurt sooooo bad. I swear you use muscles you never new you had! Needless to say I'm back to normal now.

The new thing I guess

Ok, So I guess this blogger thing is the new "cool" thing, and I have apparently been out of the loop. So I joined in and created one. Happy Valentine's Day!!!!
