Sooner the Better

Good Weekend

Well I had a good weekend. Mom and Grandma were out to visit and for the shower. The weather sucked on Saturday, and I didn't wear my sundress I was so looking forward to wearing for the shower becasue I would have been freezing. But the shower was still great. A lot of people came and I got a lot of really nice things. Mel and Kel came and then visited the house in D-town. It was great seeing them since it had been a while. The food was goooood, and I got to take some home, but it didn't last through the night with all the guests. Besides that the weekend was low key and I just hung out with the Fam.
Last night Josh's sister and I went with our friend Parrish to kick boxing. It was fun but hard!!! It was our first time and we looked really funny compared to the others in the class. Oh well it was a great workout. We are going to make it a Monday and Wednesday thing.
Well that is about it.
Girls it was great seeing you guys!!! We'll have to get together again and go out on the town.

Update on Things

Well I haven't blogged in awhile because I haven't been around a computer in forever. So let's see, last weekend Josh and I put together our patio set that my parents got us. It looks great on the back deck, and we had Josh's family over on Saturday for a cookout and played some washers and drank skippy's. It was a lot of fun. Sunday I flew to Nashville for a Finance Conference. We stayed at the Opryland Resort and it is HUGE!! It was awesome inside and the rooms were great. We had a welcome reception Sunday night with tons of food and open bar. Tuesday we all went to dinner at the Wild Hores Salon downtown. We had the upper balcony rented out with an awesome buffet and drinks, and of course had great seats for the entertainment. It is this place that plays live music and they have this big dance floor for people to line dance. They also give line dancing lessons so I got some other ladies to go out there with me and do a lesson. It was fun!!!! I flew back last night and now am at work with tons to catch up on.
I'm taking tomorrow off because my Mom and Grandma are coming into town and I have to clean the house and get things in order. My shower is Saturday at Bravo, Yum Italian. And I'll get to see Kelley and Melinda, YAY!!!! And they will get to see the new house.
So that is what has been going on with me. I'm hoping you all got your invitations to the wedding and the info on hotel accomadations. Let me know if you have any questions about anything. I'll make up a little map for the out of town people that shows where things are. We are less than 2 months away!! Can't wait!!!!!
P.S. I'm still doing the trainer and it is going good. It is getting easier every week which is a good sign.

A lot of Presents

Well I had a good weekend. Friday Josh and I just went to dinner in Delaware and Kelly met up with us after work. Then we all headed down to the bar for some drinks. We saw a lot of people out like Trev and Rob and those guys so that was a lot of fun, except people kept wanting to do shots and so shots just kept coming. Surprisingly I wasn't really felling but Kelly and Josh were. Kelly went home early, and when we got home Josh was for sure sick.
Saturday we did some stuff around the house then went up to Canton to Josh's grandmas. His brother and his Fiance and son were there, and his sister and baby Olivia. We just hung outside the whole day and played some washers, and whiffle ball and stuff. And of course cards later in the night.
Then Sunday was the big "Shower" It was tons of fun. We had goooood food and they had a cake for me that had the picture of Josh and I from our Save the Date cards on the cake. It was really cool. I got a lot of great presents and stuff I desperately needed. I can't wait for the other two, especially the one in D-town with all of my friends. Ok well that was my weekend. Just wanted to update all of you.

First Wedding Shower Gift

Well I got home yesterday and there was this box on my front porch, which is always a great feeling when you see that. So I take it inside and see it is from Target, even better!!! I opened it up and it was a Vase and this small candle torch set for my outside patio, two things I had on my registry. They were from my friend Kirin in Florida who isn't going to be able to come to my shower this month. So I was so excited to get my very first wedding gift!!!! No turning back now, he he. My first shower is this weekend at Josh's grandma's and I can't wait. I'm sooooooo excited.

Wedding Dress

Ok, so I didn't really have an eventful weekend. Didn't really do anything over exciting. BUT, I did go try on my wedding dress since it came in last week, and oh my god I LOVE IT. I'm so glad I got to see it on again because I was starting to see all these dresses in magagzines and thinking I liked them better, but once I had it on again I knew it was the dress for me. So that made me really happy. That is about all there is to talk about.
