Weekend

Well I didn't really have the most exciting weekend. Friday night we won our first two games in the softball tournament and so we played in the championship, but sadly we lost. I think our team was mostly worn out. Some of our girls aren't the most athletic. But my knee kills like crazy because I hit the best hit of my life over the left fielders head and it went back to the fence and I was at second and Josh was the 3rd base coach and was like come to 3rd, so as I'm running I can see the guy throw the ball to 3rd from the corner of my eye, and I guess that athletic instict set in and I slid into 3rd and I'm pretty sure I was safe but I got called out. So my knee is all scraped up and hurts like hell when anything touches it. I've never slid in softball my whole life, but I guess being a sweeper in soccer you slide tackle and it just kicks in when you are supposed to do it. So we didn't finish up softball until like 11:15 Friday night, then just went home to crash. Saturday was the office picnic but it rained most of the day so the food was great, but we couldn't play any games or anything outside like we planned. Saturday night was a relaxing night at the In laws since Josh's grandma was in town. Just played a bunch of cards and drank some beer. Last night we went out for a friends 21st birthday. Didn't stay out too late because I had to work today, but apparently Jodie did because at 1:00am I had a phone call from her husband wondering where she was. I was like I don't know I left at 10:00 and she was still out. So I'll have to get that story from her today. But I wasn't too happy about the phone call. Ok that is my weekend, not too exciting I know. I hope this week goes by fast since I have Friday and Monday off, I have a 4 day weekend. We are going back to my parents for Labor Day. Anyone doing anything fun for Labor Day????

TGIF

Well I'm so glad Friday is finally here. This week has gone by so slow. It is supposed to rain on and off today so I'm not sure if we will play softball or not tonight. I hope so because if they post pone it until next Friday I don't know if Josh and I can play because we are supposed to be going back to my parent's for Labor Day. Josh started his class last night. He only has one class to take while he is student teaching and it is Thursdays from 6-9. So i called his parents last night and we went to eat at the Brown Jug. Let's see what else is new. Well, I'm going to be an Aunt again. Josh's brother Aaron and his wife Heather are expecting a baby in April. So that is exciting news. She really wants a boy again, but we'll just have to see. My brother Matt moved back to Tampa from San Diego. My Dad flew out and met him, and they drove back cross country together. I talked to them Tuesday and they were 40 minutes outside of San Antonio and they were going to see the Alamo and get a big steak dinner. Josh and I are thinking about going down to Tampa in November for a long weekend to visit. But I think they are looking to get hit with a hurricane down by clearwater this week. Tomorrow is my office picnic. The first time everyone gets to meet my awesome husband. I'm in charge of making cheesy potatoes, YUM!!! Then Sunday it is a girl on our softball teams 21st b-dy so we are going for dinner and drinks at this sports bar in town. It is really weird because she has had a fake for about a year now, so it is funny we are going out to celebrate her 21st. Ok well have a great weekend everyone!!!

It's been a while

Well I haven't updated in a long time so I'll fill you all in. Lets see. Two weeks ago I was in Hartford, CT for a week for work. Last week I was in Lima for a week doing an Audit. Josh came to Lima with me for a few days, because he got burnt on his foot pretty bad at work and couldn't work for a week. We really didn't do much in Lima. Went to Applebees one night for dinner, then went to my sister-in-law Heather's parents house for a spaghetti dinner one night. I unfortunely got Strep throat when I was in Lima, so since Friday was my day off I went to the doctor and got some antibiotics. I can honestly say it was the best case of strep I have ever had. My throat hurt for like 2 days then I was all better. Saturday was the 1st annual Trevor Ufferman Soccer tournament at our High School. It was for alumni soccer players. There was 8 teams total and the ytook donations for Trevor's scholarship fund. Molly and I played with all our guy friends. It was a lot of fun, but it was sooooooo hot. Sweat was just dripping off of us. We tied all of our games but that wasn't enough to get us to the championship game. Then we went to Trevor's parents house in the country for a Pig Roast. Nothing much this week. Josh started teaching today. Friday we have our softball tournament. We are the #2 seed because we lost our last game of the season. 9-1 isn't a bad season. Then Saturday is my Office picnic. Ok well that is the life of Jessica Patterson the past two weeks. Not too exciting I know. Hope everyone is doing well. Miss you!!

Away Again

Well last week I was in Connecticut all week for work, and I'm leaving again this afternoon to go out of town for work, this time only to Lima for 4 days. So I won't really have Internet access so no updates this week. Hope everyone is doing good!!

Weekend

I've actually realized that I only like posting pictures on my blog. Not so much writing everyday things, but I'm on my lunch break so I'm updating. Tomorrow is my day off so today is my Friday, ya hoo!! Josh is actually taking tomorrow off so we'll be cleaning and doing yard work in the AM, then taking Baby Olivia to the pool in the afternoon. I'll have to take a picture and post it of her because she is so cute with her little swim suit and hair in pig tails. Tomorrow Josh and I are having a cookout at our house. A lot of people haven't seen the new house so we invited a bunch of people over to hangout and play some corn hole, washers (Melissa, a game like cornhole but a little harder with more holes, and not dangerous.) and we got a table for flip cup. That should be a lot of fun, bringing back the college days (Tourney at T-Bone and Kurts). Then Saturday we are doing a Poker Run for my mom's friend who is in the hospital. They are having a fundraiser. You start at a bar and get a card, then go to 4 more bars around delaware and have some drinks and get a card at every bar. Meet back up at 6:00pm and the winning hand gets $100. Followed by a pig roast. Should be fun. My Mom and Dad are coming into town to participate as well. Ok well that is the weekend plans. This past weekend was Snake's wedding. It was up in Dearborn Michigan and we had a great time. Josh's good friend also had his wedding on Saturday so I drove up and stayed with Molly for the weekend, and Josh went to his friend's wedding in Indiana. The wedding was awesome and beautiful. We had a great Weekend!!! Enjoy some pics.
